Deconstruction is the third of eight levels in the Conscious Evolver octagram. It is connected to the solar plexus chakra which is the chakra associated with our personal power and control, our ego.

The level of Deconstructions is all about getting to the core of who we really are. It is about peeling the layers of ourselves, past the inner power struggles between our ego and our inner knowing; our soul. It is all about digging deep. And then digging even deeper. We go through the process of creating self-awareness about a wound, exposing it in a way that allows us to observe it without judgement, and then peel it away.
Who are we when we remove all the labels of who we think we are? We work hard to peel
away all the stories we have heard about ourselves, as well as the stories we have told
ourselves about who we are. And then we go beyond. What am I beyond the labels of being an engineer? Being a wife? Being a mom? Being 45 years old? Being a woman? What resides at the core of my being beyond all of these labels?
In the process of deconstructing our layers it is critical to remove our victim mentality. We all see ourselves as a victim of something, that is the nature of being a human. Noticing where we become the victim in our lives and peeling those layers away as well, takes us closer to a place where we can start observing what brought us into Cup Full with a new level of objectivity.

With this new perspective we can shed our limiting beliefs. The stories we have been telling
ourselves about what we cannot do. What will not even happen for us. They are just stories we have been telling ourselves, and it is time to rid ourselves of those layers as well.
With all this work done we can now start separating the story of our overwhelm from the
truth. With all our layers and labels removed we are now able to leave out the emotional
charge, the biases and the opinions from our story. We can look at it in its raw form, stripped down to its core. When we were in Cup Full we were standing in the middle of the forest with our noses up to a single tree, whereas now we are looking at our story from the perspective of a helicopter flying over the forest. We see it for its entirety. It is still ours, but we are not caught up in it. We are not lost in our emotions anymore. We are feeling released, unplugged from the drama.
This can feel very vulnerable, but can also feel like we are discovering ourselves in a whole new way. We are seeing our true essence and tapping into the beauty that resides within.
