EMPTINESS & VOID - THE 4TH LEVEL OF THE CONSCIOUS EVOLVER

Emptiness & Void is the fourth of eight levels in the Conscious Evolver octagram. It is connected to the heart chakra which is the chakra associated with joy and love, as well as grief.

After all the work during the Deconstruction level of the Octagram, it is now time to sit in the Emptiness and Void that we created for ourselves. The labels that we diligently peeled away were much like filters to the light that is our True Self. Now, those filters have been removed we sit in our own light shining bright. Our natural state of being. We sit with who we truly are, in neutrality.

In this level we stay in surrender with trust and with grace. We don’t allow our thoughts to

start trouble-shooting our life. We are not looking at solving problems or figuring anything out. We are not seeking anything, nor are we reaching for anything.

On the flip side we also make sure that we do not let our thoughts go to darker places. Feeling so raw, uncovered, “naked” can induce fear or depression. Fear of where this path is leading us. Fear of who we are now that the labels are gone. And maybe even a sense of loss or grief for who we used to think we were. Change can feel uncomfortable even when we know that it is for our own good, even when we trust that it is taking us to a better place.

While we are in Emptiness & Void we stay in control of our thoughts at all times and we make sure that we stay in that beautiful balance between the light and the dark; between where we have come from and where we are heading. We keep our thoughts in a neutral place. We are now in a special place of transition, on the bridge leading us from our old way of acting and reacting to a new way of being. Even if the bridge feels wobbly our resolve keeps us on it as we observe the landscape around us without judgment. We trust the bridge. We stand on it with grace, which is defined as “seemingly effortless beauty in stillness”.

Like a snake shedding its skin we are on our way to a new version of ourselves, and the trust that we have in the process allows us to surrender and get to the next level of the Octagram. As Dr. Zach Bush says: “The fabric of everything is beauty. Love is the experience of seeing beauty.”

As we sit in Emptiness and Void we surrender to the experience of seeing beauty all around us. We surrender to our heart chakra, our love center, as we sit as our True Self.
